2.0 Participatory Intergrated Development Process

2.4.1 Selection and Formation of CDPC

Step 1: Participants are asked to select representatives, from all the local institutions based on the various community structures, to form Community Driven Planning Committee (CDPC).

Step 2: Discussion the role of CDPC in the remaining part of the PICD process. The roles in included:

Development of short term goals
Development of future plan
Development of Community Action plan
Development of resource mobilization strategy

Step 3: The tenure of the CDPC is limited to the period beginning with development of short-term goals and ending when resource mobilization strategies

2.3.3 The 24 hour day schedule

Issue	Long-Term goal statement
Water	By the end of 10 years the community shall ensure every household has access to clean and safe drinking water
Education	By the end of 10 years, we should have one primary per village, one secondary school per two villages and one youth polytechnic
Crop Product	By the end of 10 year the community shall have adequate food per household
