3.1 Targeting the EGM Manual
EGMT manual can be generally used to inform environmental eduction course content across the education and trainng institution (Figure 1): (primary and secondary schools and univeristy education) and training (tertially and univeristy). However, manual is best usef in training practitioners with basic knowledge in the underlying environmental practitioners. Thus, the manual is suitable for all practitioners working across the various sectors inclunding both regulatory agencies and regulated sectors such as government and private sectors. In addtion, the manual can be a valuable instructional materail for tertially and university education especially for lecturers, trainers, technicians and students. Finally, the manual could be a starting point for development of instructional materials for any other context such environmental public awareness and capacity building such as corporate social responsibilty that is undertaken by government, civil society, private sectors and university outreach programme.

3.2 EGMT Manual Structure
The manual utilises a module design approach that breaks down competence levels into modules, then units and finally topics (Figure Table ).
